My dissertation examined the effect of supranational EU policy coodrination regime - the European Semester - on national social policy outcomes on the case study of pension adequacy. As my interest are quantatitive methods and applied data science, I supplemented by political science degrees with an MSs in Computer Science with specialisation in Data Science at the University of Wolverhampton (2023).
During my studies I received numeours awards for academic excellence inter alia including the Dean's Award at the Univeristy of Zagreb, Pierre Werner Scholarship and Evropaeum scholarship.
My current, policy-orineted, academic research evolves around social/pension policy and sustainaible development. Most recently, the latter is reflected in the Elgar Companion to Data and Indicators for the Sustainable Development Goals - an edited volume that I have been co-editing and contributing to. The Companion is expected to be published in 2024.
I teach data-intensive modules that focus on applied data science, programming (R and Python), machine learning and data stoytelling (see Teaching tab for details).
In leisure time, I enjoy sports, wrist watches and a bit of travelling.
